Golf Tournament

The CYO is in urgent need of a volunteer to step up and coordinate our golf tournament this spring. This is a tier 3 position for school parents. Anyone willing to head up this effort and work with a great team of people for a really fun event, then please contact Tony Zanger.

SportsPilot Update

SportsPilot now has a family registration system. We will be switching from the Individual Registration database to the Family Registration System. Unfortunately we will need to start fresh so your usernames/passwords from the 2011/2012 basketball season will not work. You will be able to create your own username and password for the whole family (players and coaches). This allows you to create a Family Profile, where you can log in and register multiple members. Only one username and password to remember!

Spring Ball Registration starts February 1

St. Bernadette CYO will open on-line registration for Softball, Baseball and T-Ball on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 for players grades K-8. This program is open to St. Bernadette School students and Parishioners.

Fees for the Spring Sports are as follows:

Registration deadline is Friday, February 24, 2012. Registration details will be forthcoming in the next CYO Corner and will be available through our website at www.st-bernadettecyo.org. It will continue on our SportsPilot system and coaches will need to register as well.

Equipment and Uniforms

Please take the time to see if you have held onto any of last year’s uniforms or equipment. If you have balls, bats, bases, belts, uniforms that need to be turned in, please turn them in to the School lobby box or drop them at Maura Kane’s home at 122 Granville Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20901. Contact Maura if you have significant equipment or uniforms to return at sixkanes@yahoo.com or Tony Zanger at tzanger@yahoo.com.

Don’t forget to trade in some of your gently used equipment like baseball gloves, cleats, etc… into the same box in the school lobby for our Give and Take Program. Everyone is always looking for someone to pass on their old sports equipment. Bring something, take something!
