FAMILY NIGHT FRIDAYS

All parish and school families with and without children are welcome to join us on the field in the fall and spring for Friday evening sports for K-2nd from 5:30pm – 8pm.

Spring Season runs from April 8 thru June 3, 2011 with no games on Good Friday or Easter Friday. Enjoy dinner at the Snack Shack and spend the evening socializing with friends while you watch the CYO Intramurals play.

CYO FUNDRAISING AND CELEBRATION EVENTS

This year CYO will organize the following events to subsidize the CYO fees, build the budget to handle capital improvements and ongoing maintenance for the field and sports equipment. Look below and see what events are coming soon!

~CYO Cornhole Cup ~

The first CYO Cornhole Cup was held on Saturday at Glenn Hilliard Field. An extraordinary turnout of 40 teams/80 players participated, but only two teams were left standing: The Corn Again Christians (Amy Langevin and Meghan Doolan) and Corn Hoyas (Eric McAndrew and Billy Bednarz). Many people came to watch the games, enjoy Snack Shack brats and burgers, and raise money for the CYO. Thanks to Devin Doolan, Marty Jacobs, Amy Langevin and Todd Stone for organizing the event, to Lara Jacobs, Eric McAndrew and Chris Downs for creating the signs, and to Jen and Mike Herlihy for keeping the ball moving and the grills burning. ~CYO Coach B Award Ceremony~

June 5 immediately following the 9:00am Mass in the school hall This event occurred as the Coach B Award Ceremony this previous spring and will continue each year with the addition of recognition of each season’s individual and team success stories. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the accomplishments of our student athletes and their dedicated coaches.
